Hartmut H. Holzmüller holds the Chair of Marketing at TU Dortmund University, Germany.

He has published more than 100 articles in German and leading international journals, with the latter including International Business Review, Advances in International Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Management International Review and the Journal of Business Research.

He has generated 1.5 million euros ($AUD 2.25 million) in external grant funding over the past decade from both the government (state and federal) and industry associations. He has acted as a visiting professor to schools in France, the USA, Germany and Austria. In addition, he has taught at universities in Poland, the Ukraine, Turkey, Belarus, Finland, China and Russia. He is founder and partner of the Marketing Consulting Institute, Inc., Dortmund.
