
Export assistance and possible implications on firms’ export performance
In most countries governments, NGOs and private firm offer support for internatioalizing firms such as marketing research, market entry services, motivational and even financial support.
Olli Kuivalainen will go through the main types of internationalization support/export assistance and discuss its usefulness. In the presentation, he will elaborate what is being offered, the user experience and some evidence on what drivers of performance implications of the export assistance are. To do so, he will provide empirical evidence from two different countries : Bangladesh and Finland.
